Where will my donated old clothes go?


Our Clothes donation drive is exclusively meant for the children and adults in the hospitals, children living near railway tracks, under flyovers, children of daily wagers at construction sites, under- privileged children in Govt. hospitals and to some of our city’s most in-need populations.

Where to donate old clothes in Delhi?


We are located in South Delhi and nearby metro station is Hauz Khas, just 10 minutes from our centre.

Can you pick-up old clothes from my home?


It is not practically possible for us to pick up stuff from your home as our teams are always busy in organising distribution of stuff collected from you.


Are you open on Sundays?


Yes, our collection centre remain open on Sundays between: 9:00am – 6:00 pm

Do you also accept old newspapers?


Yes, we accept old newspapers. Please do consider to bring the same at our collection center.

  • As a policy we do not accept Cash donations.
  • Donations to Uday Foundation are exempt from 50% tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
  • Please share the details after you have made the donation to [email protected], along with your complete address and PAN card no, enabling us to send 80G tax exemption receipt of the same.
  • Uday Foundation is not registered with FCRA and we cannot accept foreign donations. We can accept donation from Non-Resident Indian only through any bank account operational in India. Contributions made by a citizen of India, living in another country, from his personal savings, through the normal banking channels, is not treated as foreign contribution. However, while accepting any donations from such NRI, it is mandatory to obtain his passport details to ascertain that he/she is an Indian passport holder.

Donate Old Newspaper – Feed the Hungry Caregiver outside Hospitals.


Next time you plan to sell off old newspapers, make an effort and stop by at our office to donate them. We at Uday Foundation will sell them to paper manufacturers and the money gained in return will go to the Food Donation Drive organized for caregivers of poor patients battling for their lives in various hospitals. This food drive is organized twice a week and caters to approximately 1000 people in a day. On an average,a plate of food costs Rs. 15 which can be earned by selling 1.5 kg of newspapers only. Isn’t it wonderful how much of a difference we all can make in somebody’s lives by a simple act of generosity.

So come, lend a helping hand for our fellow human beings. Not everybody gets an opportunity to GIVE. You have the privilege to do so.
